case study
When I officially took over managing Vcheck’s website redesign, the project was already well underway. My manager had established the initial page and site design, and I stepped in about halfway through—maybe two-thirds of the way in.
While I hadn’t been involved in the early planning phases, I had contributed in small ways, from setting up initial WordPress hosting to creating a new scope calculator in Gravity Forms. The original calculator had been hard-coded and wasn’t intuitive for marketers to manage leads effectively. Rebuilding it required multiple logic systems, nested conditionals, and a seamless HubSpot integration.

As I became more involved, I took a leadership role in shaping the site’s content strategy and ensuring its alignment with broader marketing and SEO objectives. I collaborated with the developer to refine site architecture, optimize load speeds, and implement key performance enhancements. Recognizing the importance of a scalable and conversion-driven digital presence, I worked on refining user pathways, ensuring an intuitive navigation experience that facilitated lead generation and engagement.

One of my core focuses was enhancing on-page SEO. Using SEMrush and Google Search Console, I conducted a deep-dive audit, identifying opportunities for keyword optimization, metadata enhancements, and strategic internal linking. I implemented a structured keyword and pagination strategy designed for long-term organic growth and ensured all content met best practices for search intent and user experience.
Collaboration was key. I worked closely with our CEO to align messaging with Vcheck’s evolving brand strategy and growth initiatives. This involved refining page copy, ensuring a cohesive brand voice, and optimizing CTAs to drive conversion. I also led coordination efforts between our full-time designer, product designer, and developer to ensure seamless integration of on-page graphics, interactive elements, and scalable marketing automation tools.
Beyond content and SEO, I played a crucial role in project management, driving timelines, managing cross-functional communication, and troubleshooting last-minute technical challenges. On launch day, I oversaw all aspects of deployment, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to site performance.
The result? A successful, on-time launch with measurable improvements in search rankings, site speed, and user engagement. Jumping into a project late isn’t always ideal, but sometimes, it’s exactly what’s needed to inject fresh energy, problem-solving, and momentum to reach the finish line.
